I’ve almost forgotten I have Dry Eye Syndrome. My eyes feel great now because Golden Optometric got to the root of the problem, taught me how to care for my eyes, and most importantly, Dr. Andrew Wong carefully adjusted and fine tuned my treatment as needed. I would argue that as many professional practitioners merge into mega-conglomerates, they compromise their most essential value, the doctor-patient relationship. You can get your teeth cleaned, eyes checked, and tires changed on a walk-in basis at big box organizations. Let me tell you that if I had done the same with my eye examination, recently it could have cost me my eyesight. The staff and doctors at Golden Optometric carefully listened to concerns about my worsening ability to read, recommended a test, and directly diagnosed a serious condition. I credit the doctor’s depth of caring and personal doctor-patient relationship. They helped me to initiate a resolution addressing my destructive eye disease, within hours. I was having so much trouble with my eyes. Not only was I having problems with my vision but my eyes were also itchy, irritated and red. Dr. Golden quickly diagnosed me with dry eyes. He treated for dry eyes and my eyes feel great! Thank you Dr. Golden!
