West Covina Optometrists
In Memoriam
David Golden, O.D. was the life and embodiment of Golden Optometric Group. He joined his father in optometric practice in the 1980’s and grew the practices to be some of the largest and most successful in Southern California. Dr. Golden was an extraordinary person, gifted with incredible business acumen and enthusiasm for eye care. Beyond his private practices, he was a thought leader in the arena of eye care business and helped countless optometric practices grow throughout the United States. In spite of his impressive accomplishments and success, Dr. Golden remained humble, happy to be the butt of a self-deprecating joke. He drew everyone in with his magnetic personality and infectious smile. More than that, he treated everyone as family and friends, including his patients. He was grateful for the opportunity to serve each and every patient that walked through our doors. His kindness and generosity are attested to by all who knew him and to say that he is sorely missed is an understatement. It is our personal mission to follow in the footsteps of Dr. Golden and take up the legacy he left behind, namely to be the very best we can be for our patients.
