Dr. Wong has received numerous awards for clinical and academic excellence including the Gold Retinoscope Award, the Beta Sigma Kappa Silver Medal, the Bernhardt N. Thal, OD VSP Excellence in Primary Care Award, and the George I. Deane Jr. Leadership Award. Dr. Wong is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO) and a Clinical Assistant Professor for Western University College of Optometry. His professional interests are primary eye care, contact lens fitting, diabetic eye disease, and the evaluation and treatment of glaucoma.
When Dr. Wong is not working, he enjoys spending time with the joys of his life, his wife and three daughters.

Dr. Andrew B. Wong, O.D. joined Golden Optometric Group in 2007 and is a partner and managing doctor at the West Covina location. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry. Upon graduation, he then pursued additional training and experience, completing a residency in ocular disease at the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Prior to his optometric education, Dr. Wong graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Physiological Science at the University of California, Los Angeles.
